Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of AP Copilot AI, an online learning platform for accounts payable skills. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of a company, that company is responsible for the members it adds.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account, and do not share access with others.
• One individual plan covers one named person. It does not include team or company features; a company account is used for teams.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Copy, resell, redistribute, or publish course content, quiz questions, or scenarios outside your own learning or your company's internal training.
• Attempt to defeat access controls, reach paid content without a valid subscription, or use automated tools to scrape lessons, answers, or other users' data.
• Upload unlawful, harassing, or infringing material, or company materials you have no right to share.
• Interfere with the service, overload it, or use it to train a competing product.
• Impersonate AP Copilot AI or present its output as professional advice to third parties.

Educational and workflow tool, not professional advice

• AP Copilot AI is an educational and workflow-support tool. Lessons, quizzes, scenarios, certificates, and AP Coach answers are general and are not accounting, tax, legal, audit, or compliance advice for your situation.
• Some content, including AP Coach answers and AI-assisted lesson material, is generated or drafted with artificial intelligence. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Review it before relying on it, and verify important points against official sources or a qualified professional.
• AP Copilot AI does not replace your company's internal controls, approval procedures, segregation of duties, professional accounting judgment, legal advice, tax advice, or payment authorization. Never approve, release, or change a payment based only on AP Copilot AI content.
• We do not guarantee employment, promotion, certification by any outside body, regulatory compliance, error-free AP processing, fraud prevention, or any business result. An AP Copilot AI certificate shows completion of our assessment only.

Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms are part of these Terms of Use. You must agree to them before starting a trial, creating a company account, or subscribing.

All plans

• The price and billing frequency are shown before you subscribe. Plans are billed monthly in US dollars. Applicable taxes may be calculated and added at checkout. We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy also apply to your payment.
• Free trials do not require a card and do not convert to a paid plan by themselves. When a trial ends without a subscription, paid features stop. If you subscribe during a trial, your first charge is scheduled for the end of the trial already shown to you; subscribing does not extend or restart a trial. If too little trial time remains for that scheduling, we will ask you to subscribe after the trial ends.
• Automatic renewal. A paid subscription renews automatically each month and your payment method is charged at the start of each period until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time through Manage billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for; ordinary cancellation does not end access immediately.
• No refunds. Charges are non-refundable once a paid billing period begins, including for partial periods or unused time, except where a refund is required by law.
• Failed payments. If a payment fails, we and Stripe may retry it and ask you to update your payment method. Access may be limited or end if payment is not completed.
• When a subscription or trial ends, your saved data is kept for a reasonable time and access can be restored by subscribing again.

Individual Learner plan

• $24.99 per month after a 3-day free trial. Covers one named person and may not be shared. It does not include team or company features.

Company plan (Early Access)

• $149 per month for the company, after a 14-day free trial that starts when the company account is created. Includes up to 10 authorized users (seats). Pending invitations count toward the seat limit.
• Only the company owner can subscribe, change payment details, or cancel. The owner confirms they are authorized to accept these terms for the company.
• The company is responsible for who it invites, for keeping its member list accurate, and for promptly removing access for people who leave or should no longer have access. Seats are for named individuals and may not be shared.

Company accounts, seats, and admins

• The owner and admins of a company account manage who may join, what training is assigned, and which members are removed. They are responsible for the accuracy of the company information and materials they upload.
• Managers and admins can view training progress and scores for members of their company account.
• Members must follow the company's own instructions and these terms. A company's removal of a member ends that member's access through the company account.

Your materials

You keep the rights to materials you upload. You grant us permission to store, process, and display them only as needed to provide the service to you and, where applicable, to your company's members. You confirm you have the right to upload them.

Intellectual property

The course content, lesson structure, question banks, scenarios, and software are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your subscription gives you personal, non-transferable access for learning; it does not give you a right to copy, adapt, sublicense, or commercially exploit the content. Feedback you choose to send us may be used to improve the service.

Changes, suspension, and termination

• We may change or discontinue features, and we may update these terms with notice where practical.
• We may limit, suspend, or close an account that violates these terms, misuses the service, or where we have a reasonable legal or security reason to do so.
• You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time through your account or our Support page.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," in early access. To the extent allowed by law, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that content is complete or current, or that any particular result, grade, job, or certification outcome will follow from using it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for your reliance on course content or AI Coach answers. Our total liability for claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim, or to one hundred US dollars where you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
